
Peter Langley

Peter Langley has extensive experience in both the application and teaching of project management at portfolio, programme and project levels and within contract partnering arrangements. Peter’s experience comes from working for over 30 years in a major water and wastewater utility company in a variety of technical, managerial and project/ programme roles, including managing a £400m programme of projects, a £700m regulatory submission for investment funding and managing the development of risk techniques at corporate, portfolio, programme and project levels. During this time he became an expert in both value management and value engineering.
Peter has been a consultant and trainer for the last nine years, and a senior university lecturer in project management for seven years, teaching general project management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Peter is known and sought after for building a positive relationship with students and trainees and routinely maintains contacts with past students over many years where he acts as both an on-going mentor and coach.
Peter holds a PTLLS teaching certificate and is Member of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management. He also holds a Diploma in NLP and is a certificated Value Management (VM) Practitioner.
